Friends of CRP - UK

Shortly after the foundation of CRP in 1979, a charity called the Friends of CRP (FCRP-UK) was set up in the U.K. Since becoming established, FCRP-UK has provided exclusive support to CRP for the relief and rehabilitation of paralysed people. Over the past 10 years they have sent over £1.25 million to CRP in addition to providing specialist advice, recruiting expatriate health professionals and encouraging volunteers from the UK

It is with great regret that the Board of Trustees of FCRP-UK have decided to initiate steps to close down the charity on or about 30 September 2008.

In the above context we have received many enquiries from FCRP-UK supporters concerning the Valerie Taylor Trust (VTT), a newly established UK charity which has among its objectives in Bangladesh the provision of financial support for CRP.
