What does CRP stands for?

What type of patients are treated in CRP?

Spinal Cord Injury, Back pain, Neck pain, Joint Pain (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, stroke, head injury, GBS, facial palsy, post fracture complication, burn, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, club feet, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, parkinson disease etc.

How to get outpatient service from CRP?

To obtain service from CRP, it is advised to come between 8:00AM to 1:00PM (Saturday-Thursday) and consult with Physician/Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist/Speech and language therapist/Prosthesis and Orthosis unit/Special seating unit as per appointment basis.

How to get inpatient service for spinal cord injury?

Only spinal cord injury patients are admitted here for inpatient services. The patient can be admitted 24 hours in a day based on availability of seat capacity.

How to get Paediatric inpatient and outpatient services?

Only cerebral palsy and down syndrome children can be admitted as inpatients.In this circumstance, a patient has to wait couple of months in order to get inpatient admission. But,  depending on the situation, he/she can receive service from outpatient department.

What is Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI)?

Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI) is the academic institute of CRP, established in 1992.

What are the courses offered by BHPI?

Bsc in Physiotherapy/Bsc in Occupational Therapy/Bsc in Speech and Language Therapy

Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Laboratory Medicine/Radiology Imaging/Diploma in Nursing/Certificate in Special Education/Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant
