Mitali

Mitali Rani, a cheerful girl aged only 8, came to CRP from Balabpur, Netrokona. She studies in class 2 and is very fond of reading. Her mother and father take her to the school. She lives with her mother and father there. She has born with paralysis. After her birth, her parents found their child could not move legs. She is paralyzed from her waist down and cannot feel anything below her waist.  Since her birth, they visited many doctors, but, didn’t notice any significant change. CRP’s good fiend Brother Guillaume from Mymensingh referred her to CRP. In CRP she started to receive Medical care, Physiotherapy, counseling and Occupational therapy regularly. But, after one month of treatment, doctors and therapists didn’t find significant progress in her condition. Doctors finally came to the conclusion that she needs a wheel chair. Doctors prescribed her wheel chair and provide wheelchair skills training to enhance her mobility in the community. Now, Mitali is able to go to school by herself, using wheelchair. Mitali and her Parents are very grateful to CRP and CRP’s generous donors for their kind support.
