Creating Opportunities, Inspiring Change: The Story of Saiful Islam

Saiful Islam, a person with disability from Baraigram in Natore, has established himself as a successful entrepreneur and community organiser. After receiving rehabilitation services and vocational training on electronics repair from CRP, he started operating an electronics repair shop and has continued to run it successfully.

Using the income generated from his business, he purchased land and is now cultivating seasonal crops there by employing local farmers. For a long time, he has been regularly donating the garlic he produces to CRP, which is used in preparing meals for admitted patients with spinal cord injuries at CRP. Continuing this support, on 15 June, he donated approximately 22 kilograms of garlic to CRP Savar.

Alongside managing his business and agricultural activities, he has also formed an organisation for persons with disabilities in Baraigram, Natore. Through determination, talent, and hard work, Saiful Islam has become an inspiring example of overcoming barriers and creating opportunities for others.
