Inauguration Ceremony of “JAGORON”

The inauguration ceremony of the MetLife Foundation-funded “Skill Training and Employment Generation Program for People with Disabilities (Jagoron)” project was held at CRP Savar on 18th October. Senior officials from CRP and MetLife Bangladesh, including Ala Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer, and Saifur Rahman, Executive Vice President & Head of Communications, MetLife Bangladesh, attended the event. CRP Madhab Memorial Vocational Training Institute will provide a 6-month training to 150 trainees with disabilities in Computer Office Applications, Electronics and Mobile Phone Servicing, and Dressmaking and Tailoring. The goal of this 24-month project is to improve socio-economic empowerment through income-generating support for people with disabilities. Forty trainees from MMVTI, who are beneficiaries of the project, also attended the event and expressed their gratitude to the guests.
