CRP observed World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2026 under the theme “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.” The day was marked by a range of activities at CRP Head Office and its other centres, including a rally, awareness sessions for patients and caregivers, awareness programmes at academic institutions, discussion sessions with CRP staff, a cultural program, and sports activities.
The primary objective of these activities was to raise awareness about mental health and well-being, address stigma and discrimination associated with mental health conditions, and encourage people to seek appropriate mental health care just as they would for physical health conditions. The observance also aimed to highlight the importance of listening to the lived experiences of people with mental health conditions, valuing their voices, and promoting an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can access care, participate in society, and pursue recovery with dignity.
