NIMH Delegation Visits CRP

Professor Dr. Saifun Nahar, Director of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), along with a delegation of mental health professionals, visited CRP-Savar and the CRP-Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre on 6 September 2026.

The visit included a fruitful discussion on strengthening collaboration between NIMH and CRP, focusing on referral pathways, professional training, student placements, joint research, knowledge sharing, and community-based psychosocial rehabilitation.

The delegation also observed activities at the CRP-Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre and expressed appreciation for CRP’s community-based approach and strong interest in future collaboration.
