National Wheelchair Basketball Championship 2025

The National Wheelchair Basketball Championship 2025 was held at the Center for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), Savar, with the participation of para-athletes by the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh (NPC Bangladesh) on the occasion of the Youth Festival.

CRP Founder Valerie A. Taylor inaugurated the championship on September 15. The opening ceremony was attended by the Executive Director of CRP and the Executive Member of NPC Bangladesh, Dr. Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, as well as CRP Trustee Board (TRP) member Aminul Haque. Secretary General of the NPC Bangladesh, Dr. Maruf Ahmed Mridul, delivered the welcome speech.

A total of 48 wheelchair basketball players participated in the championship; 32 of whom were male and 16 female. A grand prize giving ceremony was held on September 16.
